Calling Earth: a wake-up call, a message, a memo, a reminder, a reality-check. To be alert, not alarmed.

Hardy & Strong present their sixth full-scale exhibition, the latest expression of a creative evolution, as both individuals and collaborators. The artistic partnership of Charmaine Hardy and Simon Strong has fostered a unique vision and prodigious output since Domestic Gods (2000). The core of their work has always been traditional photography, as the basis for visual truth, with the digital realm utilised to develop, heighten, and enhance a desired aesthetic.

Calling Earth represents two different but complimentary reflections on the current state of the world, and the challenging experience of living in it.
